The RDA Unicorn Centre in Hemlington!

For more than 25 years, the RDA Unicorn Centre has been a special place where disabled children and adults have found freedom, happiness, and confidence through the power of horses. Earlier this year it was announced the centre would be closing due to the rising costs of running the centre. But as usually the wonderful community we live in came together and began fundraising giving them a new lifeline!
We wanted to help and therefore chose them as one of our charities this year.
We got to meet with Cheryl and Denise and also the beautiful Billy (who we must say was so soft after a fresh groom!)

We took along a prize the charity can raffle at the next fundraising, four sacks of pony carrots and some Christmas gifts the horses had asked for this year!
